Samsung beats apple once again to become the biggest smartphone maker

Strategy Analytics reports showed that South Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung defeated Apple and claimed once again to be the world’s leading smartphone sales operator in February. Samsung is now the world’s largest smartphone producer. Samsung experienced a flow of sales last month, which led it to recuperate. The study indicates that in February 2021 the business was able to successfully ship 24 million smartphone units and earned a market share of 23.1 percent.

Rise in Sales for Samsung

South Korea’s Samsung delivered 76.5 million cellphones to 22% of the market in a quarter, Canalys reported. Thursday, with the solid sales of its flagship Galaxy S21 smartphone series, Samsung recorded a 66% increase in the quarterly return on its mobile industry. Apple delivered 52.4 million iPhones between January-March, Canalys said after impressing Chinese buyers in the December quarter with its new 5G-enabled iPhone12, it dropped to second place with a 15 percent market share.

Before Samsung’s success, Huawei rose three months ago as the number one vendor, all because the company’s high sales were recorded in China during the COVID-19 peak months. Their dominance did not, however, continue for as long as Huawei’s shipping declined 7% quarterly and then 24% year on year. Samsungs’s shipments have now grown by 47% in comparison with the prior quarter with recent counterpoint reports.

However, other surveys also reveal that these companies are varying in rank as Counterpoint puts Oppo at number5, while IDC and Canalys have provided Vivo with this place. Even though the numbers are still quite close, despite the variations in positions. Additionally, if we were to combine all of these companies with the third quarter, then first of all the results were quite near Samsung and may even surpass Huawei.
